Fascinating reading. It speaks well of him that he returns to a place he hates to try and speak on behalf of the people he knew. Some of his accounts about the men were pretty fascinating. One of them was apparently ridiculously insane (he watched the little blinkers at the edge of the tv cause he thought they were sending messages. Don Davis apparently seemed to feel genuine remorse for his crime raising a whole other can of worms.
All in all it helps my opinion of him. He's not grandstanding and the only time he brings himself up is to explain that he knew these men and considered them friends....which is relevant.
