Wondering as to whether anyone has contacted the ACLU regarding the violation of Jesse's civil liberties in not being legally mirandized. See, they can get away with not mirandizing an adult these days, because it's considered common knowledge. However, with the law making special provisions in the case of a minor, and those provisions being flagrantly ignored by the police, and then by the courts, you have an excellent case for a civil suit against the state for violation of his civil liberties. At the very least, it will garner more attention, and if you can get the ACLU involved, then it puts MUCH more pressure on the state to justify the numerous miscarraiges of justice that have obviously taken place in this trial. Of course, the best possible outcome would be winning the suit, and that would give you grounds for a mistrial to be declared, and the confession to be nullified. THEN.. if the state wanted to push the trials again, the new evidence discovered since the convictions would be able to be entered into the record....just a thought.
